Stephen ‘Grant’ Catlett, LP, CCP, CSA
Grant is President of EVT, Inc. Grant obtained his Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Arkansas State University in 1997. Shortly after graduation, he went on to start his education in perfusion science at the Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology. Once that was completed in the winter of 1998, he came to San Antonio and began working for EVT, Inc. Grant practices adult perfusion and is a certified surgical first assistant.

Vanessa Luzania Chin, MHA, LP, CCP
Vanessa is Clinical Director at EVT Inc. She attended Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2008. She went on to attend Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology where she received her certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2010. In 2021, she obtained her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University. She began her career with EVT Inc. In 2011.

Jessica Hernandez, LP, CCP
Jessica attended University of Texas at San Antonio where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998. She went on to attend Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology where she received her certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2000. Jessica began working with EVT in 2001 where she practices adult perfusion.

Daniel Perales, LP, CCP
Daniel attended St.Philips Community College in San Antonio, Texas until 1991. He went on to attend UTHSC-Houston where he received a Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology in 1993. Daniel started working for EVT, Inc in 2014 practicing adult perfusion.

Mayra Gonzalez, LP, CCP
Mayra attended University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care in 2005. She later attended Independence University in Salt Lake City, Utah, receiving her Master of Science in Health Care Administration in 2012. She attended Texas Heart Institute in 2016, obtaining her certificate in Perfusion Technology. She began working for EVT, Inc. in 2017 where she practices adult perfusion.

Brent Eilers, LP, CCP
Brent attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1999. He went on to attend Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology where he received his certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2002. Brent began working with EVT in 2003 where he practices adult perfusion.

Harleth Gigliotti, LP, CCP
Harleth attended Carlow College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1999. She then went on to receive her certificate of Perfusion Technology from University of Pittsburg in 2001. Harleth began working for EVT in 2001 where she practices adult perfusion.

Mary Mensch, LP, CCP, RN
Mary attended the Baptist School of Nursing where she received her Associates in Nursing in 1974. Mary went on to attend Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology and received her certificate in Perfusion Technology in 1981. Mary began working with EVT in 2010, practicing pediatric perfusion.

Dauvon McCormick, LP, CCP
Dauvon attended Texas State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science in 2013. He went on to receive his Masters of Science in Clinical Exercise/Physiological Science in 2015 from Texas State University. Dauvon attended Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology, receiving his certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2017. Dauvon began working with EVT in 2017 and practices adult perfusion.

Amy Correia, LP, CCP, RCIS
Amy attended the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and obtained her Associate in Applied Sciences Degree as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist in 2008. She then went on to attend Rush University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology in 2017. Amy began working with EVT in 2020 and practices adult perfusion.

Cole Henrich, LP, CCP
Attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where received a Bachelor’s of Science in biology in 2017 and a Master’s of Science in biology 2018. Went on to attend UTHealth Cardiovascular Perfusion Program where he graduated with a certification of perfusion technologies in 2021. Practices adult perfusion with EVT.

Taylor Morgan, LP, CCP
Taylor is a Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist in Laredo, TX. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX in 2017 and attended the University of Texas Cardiovascular Perfusion program in Houston, TX shortly after. After spending three and a half years in College Station, TX, Taylor and his wife moved to Laredo, TX where he began working for EVT, Inc.

Amanda Anderson, LP,CCP
Amanda attended Texas Southern University located in Houston Texas, where she obtained Her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry in 2014. Following graduation, she transitioned into specialized mechanical circulatory support services while obtaining her Master’s degree in medical science from Liberty University. Amanda attended Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology and received her certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2022. Her career with EVT begin in 2023 where she practices adult perfusion.

Ramsha Azmat, LP, CCP
Ramsha attended Texas Tech University where she obtained her Bachelor of Biology and minoring in Chemistry in 2019. She went on to attend Rush University in Chicago where she received her Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion in 2021. Ramsha began working with EVT in 2023 and practices adult perfusion.
Joshua Singh, CCP, LP
Josh attended Michigan State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2015. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Clinical Perfusion in 2023 from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Josh began working with EVT in 2023 and practices adult perfusion.

Kristen Steffens, CCP, LP, FPP
Kristie attended the University of Iowa where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering in 2012. She went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her Master’s in Perfusion Science in 2014. Kristie began working with EVT in 2023 where she practices pediatric perfusion.
Justin Hartman, PPF
Justin attended Texas A&M University–San Antonio, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Prior to entering perfusion, he served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked as a Research Biologist for the Department of Defense. He attended the Texas Heart Institute School of Perfusion Technology and received his Certificate in Perfusion Technology in 2024. Justin currently practices as an Adult Cardiovascular Perfusionist.
Rayah Pierce, PPF
Rayah earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas State University in 2022. She later obtained a Professional Science Master’s in Biotechnology from Texas Woman’s University in 2024. She then received a certificate in Cardiovascular Perfusion from Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano Cardiovascular Institute. Rayah began working with EVT in 2025 and practices adult perfusion.
Shawta Ham, PPF, RT
Shawta attended Texas State University where she obtained her Bachelor of science in Respiratory Care in 2013. She went on to attend The Texas Heart Institute in Houston where she received her Certificate in Cardiovascular Perfusion in 2025. Shawta began working with EVT in 2026 and practices adult perfusion.
